I went to the East Lansing Art Fair today and was VERY surprised to find such wonderful goods! My favorite were these beautiful tiles made in Minnesota. They specialize in hand crafted decorative tile and are called SoMi Tileworks.
I saw this one in person and it was more amazing then the picture. Go to the website! They do custom orders!!!

dear pear! So so dear! This is from a very talented artist Nina that mostly sells ceramics, but I fell in love with her collages. You can visit her etsy shop here. If you get some time also look through her flickr photos. The colors are bright and cheery!

Another collage from Nina

Haru from New Mexico makes lovely paper wreaths. I can't imagine the time it must take. I just love the colors. She makes custom wreaths as well. Visit her etsy shop here. Here is an excerpt from her bio:
"Haru’s designs are a celebration of beautiful paper and forgotten books. She likes books that were loved by the previous owner, books that have been in someone’s library for many years, books with personalized bookplates and/or handwritten name and dates. Nature, friendship, memories and positive intentions inspire her designs."
Another paper wreath I found on Etsy from Simple Joys Paperie. Same idea but what different results. Visit

I love the sweet face on this doll made by Juliane from Sweden. And anything with mushrooms also catches my eye!
Visit her blog here And you will see that her etsy shop will open soon! She writes sweet captions about the dolls that I could not do justice. I love all of her designs and her colors.

This is for yet another Swap-bot swap. I just love Swap-bot because it forces me to take time to do the things I love. I am still not great at making these, but I really have fun. I would love to see some links to more!!! The good thing is that I am getting a little better at sewing. Visit the swap here . I heart Swap-Bot!
A Sunday is for relaxing, and this is how I relax, with a glass of wine, and my husband reading me the news. You can't beat Sundays.
